Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a process or a study of evaluating the possible environmental impacts of a proposed project or development, taking into account inter-related socio-economic, cultural, and human health impacts.

New Delhi in the prescribed proforma to be accompanied by the Project report which inter-alia includes an Environmental Impact Assessment report including Environmental Management Plan & Details of Public hearing.
